1st expedition 1990

Date:

6th of July 1990 till 4th of August 1990 (by Air plane from Prague, via Moscow to Ulanbatar and then by off road UAZ 4x4 to Gobi)

Route:

Ulánbatar- Tchoir – monastery Tchoirin (Tuerin) – Ich nartyn tchulu – Endershil – Mandakh - Manlaj – Khhan bogd –  Gashun sukhajn khjr (China border) – Khhan bogd – Dalanzadgad – Noion – Gurvantes – Khermen tsav (valley) – Gurvantes – Sainshand – Gutchin us – Arvaikher – Khharkhorin – Ulanbatar

The Objective:
1) To find monastery Tuerin and explore its underground labyrinth.
2) To colect informations about the Death Worm and try to see and photograph it.

Methods:

To force Dath Worm out of the sand in front of us and our set up camera by sending shudders through the sand by beating into the sand by wooden log.

2nd expedition 1992

Date:

21th of June 1992 till 8th of August 1992 (by train from Prague, via Moscow to Ulanbatar and then by off road van UAZ 4x4 to Gobi)

Ulanbatar – Mandalgov – Erdene dalai - Khongoryn els – Gurvantes - Naran Bulag – Nemegt Úl - Khermen tsav – Naran Bulag – Arvaikher

The Ojective:
1) To make a documentary about the Death Worm for Czech Televizion

Methods:

1) To force it out of the sand by sending the shock waves through the sand by useing explosives.

2) To colect informations about the wild man almas and try to see it.

3d expedition 2004

Date:

31th of May 2004 till 26th of June 2004 (by Air plane from Prague, via Moscow to Ulanbatar and then by off road van UAZ 4x4 to Gobi)  

Members:

Ivan Mackerle, Jiří Skupien, Danny Mackerle, Jiří Zítka, Josef Pochman, Zdeněk Jarolím (by offroad GAZ 69 all the way).

Route:

Ulanbatar – monastery Tuerin – Tchoir – monastery Barun Tchoir – Ich nartyn tchulu - Cagan Delyn Agui (cave) – Cagan Suvavga – Dalanzadgad – Bajgalyjn muzej (muzeum) - Khongoryn els – Ézh khhajrkhan Úl – Bajankhongor – Arvaikher – Khharkhorin – Ulanbatar

The Objective:
1) To try again to find entrence to underground beneath the Tuerin monastery, to find monasteries Dzún Tchoir and  Dzhandzhin Tchoir, and to find underground pasage between Barún Thoir and Dzún Thoir monasteries.
2) To explore the cave Cagan Delyn Agui.
3) With help of ultralight to search for the Death Worm in the dunes of Khongoryn els and for the wild man almas in the mountains Ézh khairkhan Úl.
